Our tap counter is designed for one thing: counting. No complicated modes, no settings to configure โ just tap the screen and the number goes up. It's the digital equivalent of a handheld tally counter, optimized for your phone.
The entire screen is your tap zone. Go fullscreen for a distraction-free counting experience with a true black background. Haptic feedback gives you a satisfying buzz on every tap. Your screen stays awake automatically so you never lose your place.
Tap anywhere on the large counting area to increment by one. Each tap gives haptic feedback on supported devices.
Press the expand button for a distraction-free fullscreen experience. The header and controls disappear, leaving just your count and minimal buttons.
Made a mistake? Swipe down on the counting area or use the minus button to decrement. Hit Reset to start over from zero.
When you're done, tap Copy to save your count to the clipboard. Share it, paste it into a spreadsheet, or save it for your records.
The entire screen is your button. No tiny targets โ just tap anywhere to count.
True fullscreen with no distractions. Dark background keeps your focus on the count.
Feel every tap with a subtle vibration. Satisfying confirmation without looking at the screen.
Your screen won't dim or lock while counting. Uses the Wake Lock API to keep your display on.
Full dark mode support. Fullscreen mode uses true black for OLED screens.
Space or arrow keys to count, R to reset, F for fullscreen. Works great on desktop too.
The Counter tool has multiple modes (tally, countdown, count-up) with step sizes, auto-counting, and multiple named counters. The Tap Counter is intentionally simpler โ one giant tap zone, one number, optimized for mobile speed and ease of use.
Fullscreen mode uses the standard Fullscreen API supported by most modern browsers. On iOS Safari, fullscreen support is limited but the tap counter still works great without it.
Yes, the Tap Counter uses the Wake Lock API to prevent your screen from dimming. This works on Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers. On unsupported browsers, the counter works normally but the screen may dim after your device's timeout.
The count is stored in memory during your session. If you refresh the page, it resets to zero. Use the Copy button to save your count before leaving. No data is sent to any server.
