Countdown starts from a number and decreases to zero, while count-up starts from zero and increases to a target number. Both modes support auto-counting and manual stepping with progress visualization.
Counter values are stored in memory during your session. If you refresh the page, the counters will reset. No data is sent to any server — all processing happens locally in your browser.
