- What is a tally counter?
- A tally counter is a simple counting device used to keep track of numbers. Our digital version lets you create multiple named counters, set custom step sizes, and use auto-counting with adjustable speed.
- Can I use multiple counters at the same time?
- Yes! In tally mode, you can add as many named counters as you need. Each counter has its own value, step size, and color. A running total is displayed automatically.
- What is the difference between countdown and count-up?
- Countdown starts from a number and decreases to zero, while count-up starts from zero and increases to a target. Both support auto-counting and manual stepping with progress visualization.
- What keyboard shortcuts are available?
- In tally mode, press + or = to increment the first counter, − to decrement, and R to reset all counters. Shortcuts work when no input field is focused.
- Is my data saved?
- Counter values are stored in memory during your session. Refreshing the page resets all counters. No data is sent to any server — everything runs locally in your browser.
